SYGNITO · Governance

Governance
Framework

How SYGNITO constrains, audits, and governs autonomous agent systems operating under the OpenClaw platform.

Three rules that override everything else.

Three foundational documents govern all agent behavior.

Constraints are layered. Lower layers cannot override higher ones. On conflict, the higher document wins without exception.

SOUL.md
Identity and purpose. Defines what SYGNITO is and why it exists. Immutable without Architect-level review.
DNA.md
Character and values. Defines how agents reason and communicate. Sets epistemic standards and tone.
CONSTRAINTS.md
Operational limits. The supremacy document for all runtime decisions. All tasks must comply. On conflict, CONSTRAINTS wins.

New capabilities are held before deployment.

Any new agent capability, integration, or autonomous behavior enters a moratorium period before it is permitted to operate in production. Moratorium is lifted only after successful soak verification and explicit operator sign-off. Agent Academy enrollment is currently in moratorium — first autonomous enrollment begins after the closed pilot phase concludes.

File integrity monitoring on all critical paths.

FIM (File Integrity Monitoring) maintains SHA-256 baselines across all governance documents, agent configs, and runtime scripts. Any unauthorized modification triggers an alert before the next operation proceeds. Config drift is detected and reported on every session start.
